Located just 15 minutes off Highway 1, we have 20 rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Relax with us in a location unmatched for its natural beauty.
Our hotel has deep roots in the community. It used to be the town bank, the old safe is still in the hallway, and we have our own deity in mountain form: Hólmatindur, watching over us across the fjord and keeping us humble.

We stayed three nights here and loved it! It is an old bank turned into a hotel. The hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming. Rooms modern and newly renovated, along with being super clean. Breakfast and coffee are also great! Highly recommended.
A lovely room with a private patio area to enjoy the sun. Very comfy bed, fantastic windows, a tea kettle and a roomy bathroom. Great shower, especially compared to most hotel showers in Iceland. Spotless. The village of Eskifjörður is absolutely lovely.
The friendliest receptionist I ever met. The room itself was nice and big, the bathroom clean, the bed comfortable, and there is a small grocery store across the street.
